Welcome to Borrow My Gennie!. By booking a rental through our website or using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Rental Agreement

By completing a booking, you agree to rent a portable generator for the time period selected. All equipment remains the property of Borrow My Gennie! and must be returned in the condition in which it was provided.

2. Booking Requirements

  • Bookings must be made online through our secure checkout.

  • A valid government-issued photo ID may be requested at pickup or delivery.

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

3. Payments

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking.

  • We accept major credit cards and other forms of digital payment via our secure platform.

  • Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been processed.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled rental start time may be eligible for a full or partial refund (see Refund Policy).

  • No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of pickup/delivery are non-refundable.

5. Usage Guidelines

  • The generator must be operated safely and responsibly at all times.

  • Units must not be used indoors or in enclosed spaces.

  • Do not refuel a hot generator. Always shut it off and allow to cool before adding fuel.

  • You are responsible for any damage, theft, or misuse during the rental period.

6. Delivery Zones

  • Delivery services are available within defined zones (0–40 km) and charged as an add-on.

  • You are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive or return the unit at the scheduled time.

  • Additional fees may apply for missed delivery or pickup windows.

7. Liability

  • Borrow My Gennie! is not responsible for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from misuse or failure to follow safety instructions.

  • You agree to use the generator at your own risk and to release Borrow My Gennie! from any related claims.

8. Late Returns

  • Late returns may incur additional charges.

  • If you’re running behind, contact us as soon as possible to avoid penalties.

9. Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
