Refund Policy

At Borrow My Gennie!, we understand that plans change. Below is our refund policy designed to be transparent, fair, and simple.

1. Cancellation Refunds

  • More than 24 hours before rental start:

    ✔️ Full refund issued to the original method of payment.

  • Less than 24 hours before rental start:

    ❌ No refund. The booking is non-refundable due to scheduling and preparation time.

2. Missed Pickups / No-Shows

  • If you’re not available during the scheduled delivery or pickup time, your booking is considered a no-show.

    ❌ No refund will be issued.

  • If we cannot reach you within 1 hour of your scheduled time, the booking is considered forfeited.

3. Early Returns

Returning the generator before the scheduled end time does not qualify for a partial refund, as your time slot was reserved and made unavailable to others.

4. Delivery Fees

Delivery add-ons (Zone 1, 2, or 3) are non-refundable once the delivery is en route or has been completed.

5. Faulty Equipment or Issues

We test and maintain all equipment regularly.

If there’s an issue with the generator:

 

  • Contact us immediately upon delivery or during use.

  • If a confirmed equipment malfunction occurs, we may issue a partial or full refund at our discretion or offer a replacement unit, depending on availability.

6. How Refunds Are Issued

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

  • You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is initiated.
